The following vetting checks are carried out on all our teaching and support staff before engaging in work with ITR Teachers:
A face to face interview is carried out to gain a thorough understanding of the candidate’s skills and strategies, knowledge of the UK National Curriculum and suitability to work in schools.
Right to work in the UK as well as proof of ID.
Enhanced DBS - We apply for an Enhanced Disclosure for all our candidates, unless they have an existing DBS registered on the DBS Online Update Service.
Proof of Address and National Insurance Number.
Qualifications - Original documents or certified copies thereof are checked.
We require a minimum of two professional references or referee contact details. These referees are contacted for verification.
Childcare Disqualification Form – Completed by all candidates.
Medical Declaration Form - Completed by all candidates.
